Tomato Chip Returns Policy

Returns

Product returns may be made for defective products which may be replaced or repaired. Returns must receive a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number before a product can be sent back to us.  All sales are final and Tomato Chip does not offer credit card/cash refunds. 

To receive an RMA number, please send us an e-mail at returns@tomatochip.com.  We can also be reached by phone or fax, please visit our contact information page.

Product returns are subject to inspection upon receipt and a determination will be made to issue a replacement, credit, or a refund if the product cannot be replaced. No refunds or credit will be issued for product not purchased from our web site. Many products come with a serial number which will be verified against our records prior to return processing. Products must not have damage, tampering or altered/removed serial numbers. This will void your request for credit/refund. Product packaging must not be tampered, damaged or altered including removal of UPC symbol on box/package. Products that are not defective must be in good "new"condition, not used - and in resale condition to receive any type of credit.

All products returned for credit that are not defective are subject to a 15% mandatory restocking fee. This covers our costs of handling the return to the manufacturer.

All returns must be sent prepaid, not COD. Any merchandise that is returned without an RMA or prepaid will not be accepted. We cannot refund or credit the cost of shipments back to us. For your protection, it is advisable to INSURE your product before sending to us. We cannot be responsible for parcels or packages that are lost or mishandled in transit to us. You can get insurance from most carriers, including USPS, FedEx and UPS. You should also ask for a proof-of-delivery to make sure your product arrives to us safely.

Replacement product is sent to you at our cost using a carrier of our discretion. Returns are processed promptly and customer satisfaction is important to us.

 

Returns Evaluation Criteria

  • Products must be properly packaged and received in good condition
  • Products must be shipped back in original packaging
  • Products must contain all parts and pieces - including instruction manuals
  • Product packaging must not be tampered, altered or damaged
  • Do not remove anything from the packaging or product including stickers, UPC bar codes or labeling
  • Product must be purchased from us, we cannot accept returns purchased elsewhere
  • Serial numbers must match our records and cannot be altered or removed
  • Products and packaging must not have any cosmetic damage including scratches, scuffs or wear
  • Breakage by customer does not qualify as defective product
  • Product must be new and resaleable
  • Product must be original product purchased from us
  • Requests not meeting above criteria are subject to refusal
